Quadratic Funding Experiments
Testing public-goods allocation methods developed in Web3 in civic-tech settings in Shibuya and across Japan.
From DigDAO matching donations to DIG SHIBUYA, the experiments expanded in stages. They applied a mechanism that reflects not only the size of each donation but the breadth of support to real art events and civic-tech projects.
Rather than simply importing the mechanism, the work implemented COCM, which considers connections among participants, and tested ways to make smaller and diverse support visible while limiting collusion.
